We are considering the future of CATLA's website that ATLA has hosted for several years. During this process we will use our new CATLA blog to communicate news, events and
information. Go now to the CATLA Blog.
We recently established a listserv for CATLA members. Send Rebekah Hall an email if you'd like to be added.
CATLA is a regional association of the
American Theological Library Association,
serving theological and theology-related
libraries in the greater Chicago area. The purpose of the Chicago Area
Theological Library Association is:
To provide
for reciprocal services among member institutions.
To promote
possibilities of cooperation in other areas, such as
acquisitions, technical services, and personnel development.
To sponsor
development opportunities for members consistent with the
evolving trends in librarianship in the technological age.
To
encourage information sharing and personal contact between
staff members of the member institutions.
To
establish a sense of collegiality and cooperation whereby
mutual support and sharing of resources and information ensue
in the betterment of service, growth in the technological
environment, and the enhancement of theological and
ministerial education and formation.
