OTLA is an electronic discussion list designed for theological
librarians in Ohio. It is an unmoderated list established by the Ohio
Theological Library Association, a regional group of ATLA. OTLA is not,
however, an official agency of ATLA. OTLA is open to librarians and
friends who are members of ATLA.
Subscribing
Subscription to OTLA is upon request only to the list administrator.
If you are an ATLA member and wish to subscribe now, click
here to submit your request.
If you are not an ATLA Individual Member or staff at an ATS school or
ATLA member institution, you will receive the following reply to your
request to subscribe:
Your request for a subscription to OTLA has come to me as the List
Administrator. If you believe that you would like to become a
participant in these discussions, please respond by telling me about
yourself, in relevant, appropriate terms. I would also appreciate
knowing what your expectations are as both a contributor and a reader
to this list.
Posting Address
The address for posting to OTLA is OTLA@list.atla.com.
Sending Attachments
Attachments are permitted on OTLA; however, in order to reduce the
risk of infection from attachments, it is advised that you paste
information within messages if you can to avoid unnecessary attachments.
If you need to include an attachment, as a courtesy to other readers,
identify in the body of your message the nature of the attachment (such
as, "I have attached a copy of the bibliography" or
"Minutes from the meeting are attached").
Dealing with Problems
If you are unable to post messages or suspect that you are not
receiving messages that have been posted to the list, send an email to
the list administrator. At this
time, OTLA is a low-volume list, so don't get too worried if you go a
few days without a posting.
Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe at any time by notifying the list
administrator.
