Position Summary:
The Archivist/Records Management Librarian will oversee all aspects of
organizing, processing, cataloging, preserving, and providing access to
library archival materials in a variety of formats using current archival
principles and standards; work with the Library Director to develop
appropriate priorities, policies, and procedures for the use and retention
of a archival materials and institutional records both print and digital;
create descriptive finding aids, MARC21 cataloging records and EAD
documents; provide reference services including research assistance,
presentations, copyright guidance and displays; collaborate on digital
preservation projects; participate in the training of students, faculty
and staff in archival resources and research methods.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an ALA-accredited MLS. or equivalent or
a graduate degree in archival studies; a minimum of two years experience
in an academic archive setting normally required; familiarity with online
EAD resources and archival data management software; familiarity with
digitization projects; a facility for working independently and with
others in a team-oriented environment; strong interpersonal and
communication skills, and attention to detail are required. Theological
and/or historical training is desirable with particular knowledge of
American Presbyterian history.

Position Summary:
The Electronic Services Librarian will overseeing all aspects of library
electronic and computer services including providing support for the
automated library system (Innovative Interfaces Millennium system) in
coordination with the IT department ; implementation and operation of
various staff databases, software and online services such as OCLC,

theological, and related resources in carious electronic formats;
experience in web design and web publishing (course web pages, tutorials,
etc.) and web implementation skills, familiarity with digitization
projects; a facility for working in a team-oriented environment. Strong

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lesley University seeks a collaborative librarian for the position of EDS (Episcopal Divinity School) Collection Services Librarian. This is a half-time position with benefits. Under the daily supervision of the Head of Collection Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of theology materials at the Sherrill Library, as well as oversight for copy cataloging, database holdings maintenance, and related work. S/he will supervise student staff in collection services activities. Under the direction of the EDS Senior Assistant Director, the incumbent will participate in weekly reference service and collaborate on collection development in a specific subject area.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Masters Degree in Information or Library Science from a U.S. accredited graduate school; 3-4 years cataloging or copy cataloging experience; excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills; creativity and adaptability; knowledge of and experience with one or more modules of a library management

Position Summary:
The Burke Library at the Union Theological Seminary (Columbia University)
seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Public Services
Librarian. Reporting to the Director, the incumbent will creatively
develop, coordinate, and promote unmediated and mediated access to the
Burke Library and its collections for Columbia, Union Theological
Seminary, as well as the broader community. Additionally, the incumbent
will exercise direct responsibility for providing instructional and
research support for the Library’s collections and information
resources, and supervise two library support staff and a number of student
assistants.
The responsibilities of this position include developing and executing in-person, print, and online information literacy instruction and other library educational programs (library orientations, workshops, credit bearing courses, in-class sessions, online guides, lectures, and other community outreach programs). Furthermore, the Public Services Librarian serves as the coordinator of library access services and student assistant staffing (Circulation, Reserves, ILL, Document Delivery, and Reader Services), with collaborative provision of reference and research services.
