The Ohio Theological Library Association has as its mission the promotion of  cooperation among its member libraries,  community spirit among individuals interested   in theological and religious librarianship and continued improvement in all areas of librarianship   related to those fields.  It also seeks to encourage its member schools as they obtain and retain accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools. OTLA is a regional consortium of the American Theological Library Association
