ATLA RDB Essay Coverage

The ATLA Religion Database® includes indexing of selected essay collections in religious studies and theology. Essay collections included must (a) consist of signed contributions from more than three authors (i.e., no collected essays of a single author or jointly authored books), (b) not reprint collections intended for classroom use or the like, and (c) scholarly in nature. Indexing of such collections may either be at the book level only, including subject indexing and table-of-contents, or full analytic indexing, with distinct records created for each in-scope essay. ATLA may index books selectively, if only some of the essays are in-scope.  Suggestions for potential indexing titles may be sent to Gregg Taylor, Database Manager for Acquisitions and Bibliographic Control at gtaylor@atla.com. Review copies should be sent to: Acquisitions Manager, American Theological Library Association, 300 South Wacker Dr., Ste. 2100,  Chicago, IL 60606 USA.
