The basic rule is to add the date of imprint to all monographs
For a photocopy of facsimile edition, the work letter "a" is added to the date of the original work, for example, .U54 1952, .U54 1952a, .U54 1952aa, .U54 1952ab, etc.
If there is more than one edition of a title published in the same year, the same imprint date, with the addition of a letter beginning with "b", is added in order of receipt, for example: .R67 1988, .R67 1988b, .R67 1988c, .R67 1988d, etc.
