Atla Funnels Coordinator Richard Lammert presents updates on Atla’s participation in three Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) programs: Name Authority Cooperative (NACO), Subject Authority Cooperative (SACO), and Cooperative Serials Program (CONSER). This orientation will be most helpful to anyone interested in contributing name authorities or series authorities to the national authority file or in cataloging serials to national standards (and being able to mark records as such).
We will also review our roll-out of the newest Atla funnel, the SACO funnel, and highlight where contributions can be made in that area. Metadata librarians and catalogers interested in joining one of the projects as well as administrators looking to learn more about an important professional development opportunity for their technical services staff are encouraged to attend.
