Job Posting - Submission Guidelines

Member and non-member institutions are invited to post job openings on the ATLA website. Postings are free of charge for ATLA Institutional and Affiliate Library Members. Non-member institutions may post their descriptions for $60 per opening per 60 days.


Job Postings are published onto the Job Openings page, published in the ATLA Newsletter, which is distributed to ATLA's membership, and posted on our social media feeds.

How to Submit a Posting

Job openings may be submitted at any time and are usually posted the same week they are submitted. Postings should be submitted to ATLA Member Programs.

For ATLA Institutional and Affiliate Library Members listings remain posted for 60 days. After 60 days, the description will be removed unless a re-posting is requested. If the position is filled before 60 days, please contact the ATLA Member Programs so that the position may be removed.

Non-member postings will appear for 60 days. Non-members are welcome to have a position re-posted at the cost indicated above.


Submissions should be sent by e-mail to ATLA Member Programs. ATLA reserves the right to reject any job posting for any reason, without notice (refunds will be made where necessary).

Submissions containing excessive typographical and/or grammatical errors may be rejected. Descriptions may be edited for the sake of consistency in punctuation, capitalization, etc.
