Throughout the year, ATLA is approached by vendors and other organizations interested in promoting their product or service to the ATLA membership and possibly offering a discount or special offer for ATLA members to acquire or subscribe to a specific resource. ATLA is working more closely with SCELC to make compelling offers available through the SCELC Consortia and we need your assistance.

In order to help us determine if a particular resource or offer is something we should make available to members to ATLA members, we are forming a Resources Review Advisory Group. This group will collaborate with ATLA Member Programs staff to explore and evaluate resources and offers and help ATLA determine if a particular resource or offer may be of interest to other ATLA members. We are looking for volunteers who are active in making decisions about resources at their library -- reference librarians, collection development librarians, library directors. Approximately once every 2-3 months members of the Resource Review Advisory Group will receive information about a resource or offer from and be invited to share their feedback via email, phone, or conference call. Volunteers can join or leave the group at any time

If you are interested in volunteering to participate on the Resource Review Advisory Group, or have any questions, please send an email to
