Features of Collection:

Our print collection contains over 24,000 volumes. Special strengths of the collection include urban Christian ministries and counseling. The library catalog is available on Populi with full MARC records. Students have off-campus access to the ATLA database and a number of CD-Rom and audiovisual resources in the library

McCain Library

Erskine College and Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

The collection contains over 200,000 volumes serving the College (undergraduate liberal arts) and Seminary (graduate theological studies). Collection strengths are in religion and theology (particularly, in the Reformed tradition), history, and literature. The library subscribes to over 600 periodicals (print and electronic subscriptions) and provides access to over 100 research databases.


 

 




 

 

 

 

G. Allen Fleece Library

Columbia International University

Features of Collection:

The G. Allen Fleece Library has a growing book collection of items for check out including over 15,000 electronic books available through the online catalog for currently registered students to use.

The goal of the G. Allen Fleece Library to provide our visitors with resources and help that will support their search for the information they need. To do that, we have a selection of thousands of books, journals and media items...over 200,000 items, to be exact. Many of these resources and services are available to CIU students as well as faculty and staff, regardless of whether they are in the library physically, or in a residence hall, an office, or at home -- in fact, anywhere in the world!

Our staff of seven works hard to make the library collection easily available.


 

 

 

John R. Dover Memorial Library

Gardner-Webb University

Features of Collection:

The John R. Dover Memorial Library provides access to over 90 databases including the subjects of business, literature, religion, music, psychology, nursing and allied health. The library collection includes over 200,000 items including books, videos, CD's, ebooks and computer software.


 

 

 

Harold-Lindsell Library

Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

The collection contains over 55,000 volumes. Online databases available through the library include the ATLA Religion database, ATLAS Serials, Religion and Philosophy Collection, PSYCArticles, the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection, and the World Christian Database.


 

 

Hood Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

The collection contains approximately 29,000 volumes with strengths in Black and Womanist theology, as well as 150 periodical subscriptions and the ATLA Religion database and ATLAS full-text article database. The library also houses a small collection of A.M.E. Zion archival materials.


 

 

Language and Translation Library

JAARS Center

Features of Collection:

The collection contains approximately 3,000 volumes. It includes grammars and dictionaries from many minority languages, books on linguistics, cognitive semantics, translation, and related fields such as cultural anthropology, literacy, and ESL, language learning tapes. We also have commentaries and books on semantic analysis and exegesis of Scripture for translation which we ourselves have produced for translators in the field.


 

 

Temple Library

John Wesley University

Features of Collection:

The collection contains approximately 40,000 items, which includes 1600 audio cassettes, 800 videos, and 145 periodical titles. The collection strengths include: modern theology, Biblical commentaries, counseling, & Wesleyan material. The collection is accessible through a public access catalog.

Features of Collection:

The collection contains over 60,000 volumes, as well as other educational resource materials including numerous periodicals and journals in both print and electronic form. Each year we are pleasantly surprised by new discoveries in our holdings which may be of help to our patron community. The Lord has given to us an opportunity and responsibility to encourage and foster academic excellence here at Piedmont International University.


 

 

 

Reformed Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

Approximately 56,000 volumes with strengths in Reformed theology, Biblical commentaries, and patristics. The Library has expanded its periodical holdings to around 375 current subscriptions. The Library subscribes to the ATLA Religion database, ATLAS full-text journals, Religious & Theological Abstracts, Old Testament Abstracts, New Testament Abstracts, the Religion & Philosophy Collection, and TREN databases (all online). Multiple CD-ROM resources are available as well.


 

 

 

Paul K. Jackson Library

Shepherds Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

The collection contains over 27,000 volumes that are all searchable in the electronic card catalog on OPAC. Eighty-six percent of the collection is cataloged in the Dewey Decimal 200 Religion series. Jackson Library subscribes to over 40 scholarly journals. The computer lab contains Bible software that is searchable by Libronix: Logos Platinum; Logos Silver; Logos Theological Journals Library, and BibleWorks.


 

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

Features of Collection:

The Library at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping students to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission by enabling students to have free encounters with the documents of our faith and with other resources to engage our world for Christ.


 

Southern Evangelical Seminary

Features of Collection:

The collection consists of about 60,000 volumes of books, videocassettes, and DVDs, with special strengths in apologetics, sects, cults, and world religions. Access to electronic databases and the Internet is provided throughout the library.


 

 

 

 

Charlotte Campus Library

Union Presbyterian Seminary - Charlotte Campus

Features of Collection:

The collection at Union Presbyterian Seminary of Charlotte contains approximately 20,000 volumes and benefits from the vast print collection and remote access to numerous electronic database collection of the main library in Richmond.  The collection strengths are in Biblical commentaries and literature plus Christian education literature. These areas support the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE) degrees.
