Atla’s committees, councils, and task forces work to achieve Atla’s Mission and Organizational Ends. They are appointed by the Executive Director and are an integral part of the Association.

Information about opportunities for members to connect and chat during conference week will be announced soon, along with interest, denominational, and regional group meeting details. Remember, applications are due Friday, May 14 for grant programs to attend conference free of charge. AND if you register by May 24… we have a little something special for you.
Secondly, last July we announced that we were developing a community site, a gathering place for individual-type members and staff at member libraries to converse, collaborate, and share. While it has taken us a little longer than expected to get everything prepared, we are happy to announce that we are going to invite a few pilot groups to start using the community site in May. These groups will help us test the functionality and make sure our procedures and policies are ready for all members to start using the community site to engage with each other.
Leaders of interest, denominational, and other groups will be hearing from us soon, asking for a little time on your upcoming meeting agendas to give your group a preview of the community site. We also will be providing you some additional training and materials to encourage you to think about using this new tool to engage with your group members.
After conference, we will reach out to everyone in the member community with more information and an invitation to join the community site. We are excited to offer you this opportunity to gather and grow together in this new way.
