We are pleased to introduce Jill Annitto as our new Editorial Manager, Digital Products in the Production Department.
Jill brings a wealth of experience in information management and team leadership. She was with the United Nations for seven years; for six of those years, Jill was the Chief of the Central Records Unit. In this role, she and her six-person staff managed the daily processing of documents received by the UN. She led the efforts to create the file classification scheme and controlled vocabulary used for coding all of the documents. She also led technical initiatives associated with implementing a new document and case management system. Jill recently worked at the University of the Arts, where she engaged in leadership roles in various cross-campus initiatives. Her previous work at the UN Archives, the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives, the New York Mayor’s Office of Management & Budget, and at the Brooklyn Historical Society, will be a great asset to ATLA.
She has a BA in Classical Civilization from Loyola University Chicago, an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Master of Public Administration from City University of New York-Baruch College.
