The Kagoro Journal of Theology is published by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Theological Seminary in Kagoro, Nigeria. Focusing on multi-disciplinary research in historic Christian faith and theology, this journal is important in its topical coverage and international perspective.
The mission of the journal is consonant with ATLA’s mission: “to set the pace for theological discourse in Africa,” and also “to provide theological resources for faculty, students and alumni of theological institutions.” Beginning publication with a thematic issue on “Theology, Human Suffering and the Environment,” Kagoro Journal of Theology showed how it will bring together authors from the global south. The journal wants to publish scholarship that is not of an isolated and specialized nature, but of research set within the wider context of culture and society, in Africa and beyond.
ATLA is very excited to partner with Kagoro so early in their publishing process so we will be able to provide all their current and forthcoming issues to scholars around the world via ATLASerials PLUS™ (ATLAS PLUS™).
The inaugural issue of the Kagoro Journal of Theology is available in ATLAS PLUS.
