Published continuously since 1972, Páginas is edited by the Center for Studies and Publications (CEP) in Peru. It covers Christianity, politics, social justice, and the preferential option for the poor in Peru, while seeking to “to promote a dialogue between pastoral work, theological reflection, and the human and social sciences.”
In its 45-year history, Páginas has established a long tradition of covering the intersection of religion, politics, and culture in Latin America, and most specifically in Peru. An historically significant journal, it has chronicled many of the regional social and religious movements during that time, and continues to lead by publishing important thought leadership and analysis in its articles. With a foundation in Christianity, its diverse subject matter provides context and examination on these issues as they evolve.
Until this collaboration with ATLA, much of the Páginasback catalog was not available digitally. Digitizing content starting with volume one, issue one, ATLA is thrilled to be able to offer the entire run of this regionally well-known journal online to a global audience via ATLASerials PLUS™ (ATLAS PLUS™). This is the first time Páginas has been available in its entirety online, and it is also ATLA’s first full-text title from Peru. We are very excited to be able to share this journal with scholars and researches around the world.
Páginas is available in ATLAS PLUS.
