In Atla Religion Database
- Jahrbuch des Dubnow-Instituts/Dubnow Institute Yearbook, published by the Leibniz-Institut für jüdische Geschichte und Kultur–Simon Dubnow, Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, is a bilingual publication that addresses an international German- and English-speaking scholarly public. Topics include contributions on the life and work of a Jewish scholars, essays presenting new research projects and approaches to Jewish history and culture, and material on the life, work and thought of Simon Dubnow.
- Oxford Journal of Law and Religion, published by Oxford University Press, presents a range of articles treating social, legal, and political issues involving the relationship between law and religion in society. Expert contributors offer comparative law perspectives on the relationship between religion and state institutions, track developments regarding human and constitutional rights to freedom of religion or beliefs, and explore the relationship between religious and secular legal systems. The journal also provides a forum for empirical work on the place of religion in society and other salient areas where law and religion interact, such as theology, legal and political theory, legal history, and philosophy.
- Zutot: Perspectives on Jewish Culture, published by Brill, aims to fill a gap that has become more and more conspicuous among the wealth of scholarly periodicals in the field of Jewish Studies. The Zutot serves as a platform for small but incisive contributions, and provides them with a distinct context. It covers Jewish culture in its broadest sense, i.e., encompassing various academic disciplines—literature, languages and linguistics, philosophy, art, sociology, politics, and history and reflects binary oppositions such as religious and secular, high and low, written and oral, male and female culture.
- Inter-Religio, published by Nanzan University (Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture), was the biannual journal of Inter-Religio, a network of Christian organizations from eight different countries that aimed at promoting interreligious research and dialogue in Eastern Asia. It was published from 1982 to 2005.
- Journal of Biblical Pentecostalism, published by BCC Academic Press, is an online, peer-reviewed, academic journal for scholars, pastors, and missionaries. It presents biblical exegesis, ministerial training literature, and research of church history through a Pentecostal hermeneutic. Its goals include presenting exegesis of the Scriptures with a Pentecostal hermeneutic, demonstrating the unity of the Scriptures through intertextual interpretation of the Old Testament and New Testament, applying Scriptural principles to a Pentecostal, practical ministry environment, and presenting research of the roots and traditions of the Pentecostal movement throughout church history.
- Journal of Religion, Media and Digital Culture, published by Brill, is a peer-reviewed academic journal, publishing three issues per year. The journal presents original work that contributes to the social-scientific discussion of the relationship between religion, media, and culture. Studies of any religious tradition, medium or geographical region are welcome. The journal’s primary focus is on recent and contemporary media, but historical studies may also be considered
- Syriac Annals of the Romanian Academy, published by Editura Academiei Române, is the first journal dedicated to Syriac studies in the Romanian space. It includes various topics on Eastern theology and mysticism, provided by renowned Syriacologists and scholars of the history, theology, and spirituality of Syriac Christianity.
- Journal of the Council for Research on Religion (JCREOR), published by McGill University, is a web-based refereed interdisciplinary journal that publishes articles on all aspects of the scholarly study of religion. Subject matter ranges from the ancient to the contemporary and explores western and non-western perspectives and approaches.
- Contemporary Religions in Japan, published by Nanzan University (Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture), is the preceding title for the journal now known as The Japanese Journal of Religious Studies. It focused on a multidisciplinary approach to the study of religion in Japan, and published submissions from scholars in all fields of the humanities and social sciences.

- Contemporary Religions in Japan, published by Nanzan University (Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture), is the preceding title for the journal now known as The Japanese Journal of Religious Studies.
