Announcing Additions to Atla Products – September 2020

Chicago, IL, September 23, 2020 – Atla is pleased to announce the addition of titles now available in Atla Religion Database® (Atla RDB®), AtlaSerials® (Atlas®), and AtlaSerials PLUS® (Atlas PLUS®). Atla Religion Database has surpassed a major milestone and now includes more than three million citations.
This September the Atla team also continues its global expansion with content from four continents, eight countries, and in four languages.

Global Expansion: New Titles Cover Four Continents
Asia
From South Korea, two new Korean-language titles have been added to Atla Religion Database: 한국교회사학회지 from The Church History Society in Korea and 교회사학 by 천주교 수원교구 유지재단 소속 수원교회사연구소. Both titles are open access and discuss church history in Korea.
Africa
From Zimbabwe, Journal for the Study of the Religions of Africa and its Diaspora by the African Association for the Study of Religions covers the wide range of religious traditions that were founded, exist, and operate in Africa and the African Diaspora. This open access journal is being indexed in Atla Religion Database.
From South Africa, Conspectus is an open access journal by South African Theological Seminary. It covers biblical studies, systematic theology, and practical theology. Conspectus is available in Atlas PLUS.
Europe
From Russia, St. Tikhon’s University Review: Problems of History and Theory in Christian Art by St. Tikhon’s Orthodox University is a Russian/English-language interdisciplinary journal that highlights sacred art and architecture, church liturgy, worship, and music, in the Russian/Eurasian context. This open access journal is being indexed in Atla Religion Database.
From Belgium, BABELAO by ABELAO (l’Académie Belge pour l’Étude des Langues Anciennes et Orientales) is a French/English-language journal that also sits at the intersection of multiple disciplines, including languages and linguistics, sacred writing, and ancient history in the Eastern context. This open access journal is being indexed in Atla Religion Database.
From the Netherlands, Journal of Muslims in Europe by Brill is a global, interdisciplinary platform dealing with contemporary issues on Islam and Muslims in Europe. It is available in Atlas PLUS.
