Atla Reciprocal Borrowing Program Information Session

The Atla Reciprocal Borrowing Program creates arrangements between Institutional and Affiliate Candidate Libraries to grant check-out privileges to each other’s students/patrons. Our current program requires participants to be in North America and be able to receive patrons at a physical library location.

Beginning this spring, Atla will be expanding this program in an effort to be more inclusive to a variety of libraries. We will be doing this by creating participant types, allowing libraries outside North America and libraries that cannot receive patrons to participate. Libraries currently participating in the Reciprocal Borrowing Program will be given the ability to opt into this expansion of the program; they may also choose to maintain their current participation level.
