Atla is governed by an elected board of directors, including four long-standing Board committees and one short-term committee all mandated by the Board’s Policy Manual.
Atla’s committees, councils, and task forces work to achieve Atla’s Mission and Organizational Ends. They are appointed by the Executive Director and are an integral part of the Association.
Through the Atla Digital Library and Atla programs supporting digitization, libraries and archives have opportunities to promote the discovery and use of their unique and significant digital collections in religion and theology. During this informative session, Atla staff will lead attendees through the steps to either have the metadata of their digital collections harvested for display in the Atla Digital Library or to directly host those digital collections in the Atla Digital Library. Attendees will also learn how to get started creating an online exhibit with Atla Digital Library Exhibitions as well as the potential use cases for online exhibits. Finally, we will provide an update on the Atla Digitization Grant program, which will open up again for applications this fall. There will be time for questions and feedback on all these programs at the end.
