Participants in this online workshop will learn the pros and cons of ORCID IDs, have an opportunity to register for their own numbers, and will brainstorm ways to promote the use of ORCID IDs to their own patrons and researching communities.

Beth M. Sheppard is a Full Professor in the Ingram Library at the University of West Georgia where her current research interests focus on Scholarly Communication. She has previously directed the theological libraries at Duke Divinity School and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Sheffield and regularly publishes in the fields of New Testament Studies and Theological Librarianship.
