Call for Proposals
The Atla Conference Committee invites members and friends to submit proposals.
The deadline for all submissions has been extended to Sunday, October 6.
While we welcome proposals pertaining to all areas of librarianship, we are particularly interested in topics that relate to creative uses of technology, open access in relation to scholarly communications, leadership and administration topics, and programs that apply to religious studies bibliographers working in university settings.
Proposals should be made in one of the following categories:
- Conversation Group
- In-Conference Workshop
- Pre-Conference Workshop
- Listen & Learn
- Panel Presentation
We’ve added additional session types to the proposal process. These sessions have always been at conference and we’ve made it easier for you to submit information for these session types using the My Atla web portal.
- Business Meeting
- Denominational Group
- Interest Group
- Regional Group
- Other Meeting
Submit to the Summary of Proceedings
The Summary of Proceedings is the official record of Atla Annual, and, as an open access publication, it is an opportunity to present the projects and scholarship of Atla and its members to a diverse, worldwide audience. Your work is a valuable contribution to the professional development of theological librarians, and Atla expects and appreciates high quality, substantive submissions that reflect the Association’s core purpose and values.
All submissions must be completed through the OJS site for Summary of Proceedings. We no longer accept submissions by email or other means. Failure to follow these instructions or to submit by September 27, 2019, will result in the omission of your presentation from the Proceedings.
