Atla’s membership includes more than 800 individuals and libraries at academic institutions from diverse religious traditions and backgrounds.
Atla is governed by an elected board of directors, including four long-standing Board committees and one short-term committee all mandated by the Board’s Policy Manual.
Atla’s committees, councils, and task forces work to achieve Atla’s Mission and Organizational Ends. They are appointed by the Executive Director and are an integral part of the Association.
The Carolinas Theological Library Consortium (CTLC) was begun to allow greater resource sharing amongst the various schools with theology and/or religion programs in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina, area. It has grown over time to include institutions throughout North and South Carolina. Each school in the Consortium has agreed to abide by the following borrowing policies. Students are advised to have their current student identification with them to check out materials from another CTLC library.

Updated: 10/18/2018, Approved by members to adopt the membership guidelines for CTLC and use them as a guide for future decisions.
Librarians from CTLC member schools get together twice a year to interact, share library and school reports, and engage in library professional development. Meetings are hosted by different member schools.
