Drawing upon her education and experience as an attorney and as an academic librarian, Christine strives to promote access to and use of scholarly research and diverse special and archival collections through the utilization of open access publishing, understanding of fair use and other rights under copyright law, implementation of open source infrastructure, and the practice of responsible licensing. She is a frequent speaker and author on copyright in online education, fair use in higher education, and open and public access. Her other interests include the use of media in online education, information law and policy in libraries, and collection development/management.
