Description:

Amid ongoing hype and concern around generative AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E, Atla and ATS invite you to an interactive workshop exploring the exciting and challenging constructive possibilities for information literacy, writing, and research offered by these technologies. Together, we will engage generative AI as a potential learning partner in research and writing as we play with some of the available interfaces, engage examples of how libraries and librarians are leveraging these tools, and discuss the possibilities and challenges these new technologies bring to our communities. Through conversation and experimentation, this workshop aims to inspire curiosity, courage, and creativity in working with emerging AI technologies for the benefit of theological librarianship.
